The Los Angeles Rams are reportedly losing Janoris Jenkins to the New York Giants to open free agency, and it's starting to look like the team could lose out on starting safety Rodney McLeod.
According to ESPN New York reporter Dan Graziano, the undrafted free agent safety back in 2012 could be heading to the Giants as well:
The Giants also have expressed interest in Jenkins’ former Rams teammate, free-agent safety Rodney McLeod.

It should not come as a surprise that the Giants would be interested in the young safety. The Giants already have Jenkins so why not pair him up with another starter he's familiar with, especially when you have one of the worst secondaries in the league. The Giants also have former Rams Head Coach Steve Spagnuolo as their defensive coordinator as well as former Rams Defensive Coordinator Tim Walton as their secondary/cornerbacks coach.
The Giants are not the only team after McLeod. According to Bleacher Report's Jason Cole, the Baltimore Ravens also have shown interest in McLeod:
Hearing #Ravens as a strong contender for #Rams safety Rodney McLeod. First of many safeties on market

According to Pro Football Focus, McLeod was the 10th best safety in the league. The NFL is always looking for talented free safeties, so his interest among safety starved teams comes as no surprise.
McLeod was part of the Rams' Priority A in free agency so it would be a surprise if the team does not attempt to retain his talents. Then again, Janoris Jenkins was part of Priority A...
If McLeod is signed to another team, Maurice Alexander would be the favorite to move into his role if the team does not address it during free agency or the NFL Draft.
