Despite the latest "buzz" surrounding Los Angeles Rams cornerback Janoris Jenkins, it looks as if he’s played his last down with the team.
According to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter, the Rams’ 2nd round pick from 2012 looks to be headed to the New York Giants, where he’ll play a key role in former Rams’ head coach Steve Spagnuolo’s defense.

Stay tuned for details of the contract.
The Rams were able to lock up fellow free agent cornerback Trumaine Johnson for at least the 2016 season. As for who starts at the opposite cornerback position remains to be seen. One would think it’d E.J. Gaines, who missed the entirety of the 2015 season due to [Lisfranc foot] injury.
This move could also drastically impact the Rams’ draft plans.
