Per his personal Instagram account, it sounds like DE Eugene Sims is re-signing with the Los Angeles Rams:
Sims would be one of the two longest-tenured Rams along with OL Rodger Saffold. Both were selected by the Rams in the 2010 NFL Draft (Saffold in the second round with the 33rd overall pick, Sims in the sixth round with the 189th overall pick).
As a reserve DE with William Hayes behind Robert Quinn and Chris Long, Sims has been a plus producer during his time with the Rams racking up 83 tackles and 9.5 sacks. Last year with injuries along the D-line, Sims finally saw a solid run of starting action getting the early nod in nine games.
Having re-signed Hayes already, the Rams have three of their four DEs from 2015 back, Long being the odd man out following his release with MLB James Laurinaitis and TE Jared Cook back in mid-February.
Glad to see Sims got his test results back...
