With reports that the New York Jets are getting frustrated in dealing with QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, they've apparently turned to Robert Griffin III:
Major QB development: former Redskins QB Robert Griffin III is scheduled to visit the NY Jets later today, league source tells ESPN.

#Jets & RG3: I'm told team growing tired of deadlock w/ Fitzpatrick. And with Kaepernick deal stalled, Griffin is exploring what's out there

#Jets are frustrated with Fitzpatrick. They aren't going to circle with him forever. They believe his market outside of NY is very thin.

This may be a case where Fitzpatrick's representation is pressing hard for a market valuation that either (a) doesn't exist or (b) they think will exist soon before the draft. Clearly, the two sides aren't close enough to prevent the Jets from at least courting RGIII to a public degree.
As for how it affects the Rams..."sitting tight" is looking more and more likely to be realistic.
