Following Jameis Winston winning the NFL's online vote to distribute the Pepsi Rookie of the Year last evening, Rams RB Todd Gurley has won the more prestigious AP Offensive Rookie of the Year award at tonight's NFL Honors gala.

It marks the second year running that a Rams rookie has won a ROY award following DT Aaron Donald doing so a year ago.
Donald, for his part, missed out on the Defensive Player of the Year award to Houston Texans DL J.J. Watt as Donald finished second.
Gurley finished the season with 1,106 yards on 229 rushes and 10 TDs in just 456 offensive snaps. Perhaps more indicative of his explosiveness, Gurley came in second in rushes of 20 yards or more with 11 on the season.
It's a fine start to a career that will carry incredibly high expectations going in to year two for Gurley.
