Turf Show Times Is Headed To The Combine

Welp. Time to get it going.

A week from today, I'll be in Indianapolis getting ready to cover the 2016 NFL Scouting Combine. Along with me will be Danny Kelly from Field Gulls (SB Nation's Seattle Seahawks community), Tex Western from Acme Packing Company(SB Nation's Green Bay Packers community) and Alexis Chassen from Land Grant Holy Land (SB Nation's Ohio State Buckeyes community).

Obviously, we'll be covering the media opportunities to talk to head coaches and general managers, but I'll be looking moreso to get time with various prospects and get a sense of where they are on their journey to the NFL, both literally and metaphorically.

There will be plenty of coverage of the workouts and the 40-yard dash times and all that headline-ready stuff. I'm hoping to add something beyond that.

In any case, it's a cool opportunity to get in the weeds in Indy and cover things on the ground. Hopefully, we'll get a chance to talk to the Rams and give them a chance to talk directly to the fans at TST.
