2016 NFL Mock Draft: Norris Keeps Rams On QB Track

The mockery keeps shifting.

We've got a Thursday mock out today with Josh Norris' third effort of the season over at Rotoworld. Top 14:

# Team Pick POS School
1 Tennessee Titans Jalen Ramsey CB Florida St.
2 Cleveland Browns Joey Bosa DE Ohio St.
3 San Diego Chargers Laremy Tunsil OT Ole Miss
4 Dallas Cowboys Myles Jack OLB UCLA
5 Jacksonville Jaguars Noah Spence OLB Eastern Kentucky
6 Baltimore Ravens Ronnie Stanley OT Notre Dame
7 San Francisco 49ers Laquon Treadwell WR Ole Miss
8 Miami Dolphins Vernon Hargreaves III CB Florida
9 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Shaq Lawson
DE Clemson
10 New York Giants DeForest Buckner DE Oregon
11 Chicago Bears Darron Lee OLB Ohio St.
12 New Orleans Saints A'Shawn Robinson
DT Alabama
13 Philadelphia Eagles Joshua Garnett
G Stanford
14 Oakland Raiders Mackensie Alexander CB Clemson

We haven't seen this path to the Rams yet (Garnett!!!), though it's one to consider. Unlike the choice of WR conundrum I spoke about on Tuesday in Matt Miller's seven-round behemoth, here the Rams get their pick of QB if they so choose.

Norris has them taking:

Carson Wentz (QB, North Dakota St.)

GM Les Snead recently mentioned that the "analytics" pointed to Case Keenum "playing like a top-10 quarterback at one point." There is no way he can believe that. Wentz has a lot of talent, but I cannot get behind the top 10 pick talk. However, the Rams do need to (finally) invest in the position.

The combine is going to be an absolute confusionfest when it comes to sorting out the QB big board this year.

Stay tuned.
