Big things happened yesterday at the Rams’ not-practice.

The Los Angeles Rams didn’t hit the practice field yesterday as part of Head Coach Jeff Fisher’s ingenious and revolutionary approach to shift the conventional Wednesday-Thursday-Friday practice schedule to Tuesday-Wednesday-Friday, an approach that has produced outstanding results.

On Wednesday’s initial injury report, rookie franchise QB Jared Goff who once threw three touchdowns in a single half was listed as having not practiced due to a “virus that’s been going around.”

Yesterday according to the hypothetical injury report, Goff was fully recovered heading toward Week 14’s matchup with the Atlanta Falcons:

Los Angeles Rams

Name POS Injury Wed. Status Thu. Status
Tavon Austin WR Chest Full Full
Rodger Saffold OL Hand Full Full
Jared Goff QB Illness DNP Full
Robert Quinn DE Concussion Limited Limited
Benny Cunningham RB Neck DNP DNP
E.J. Gaines CB Thigh DNP DNP

With Goff, WR Tavon Austin and OL Rodger Saffold all full participants, the only likely concerns are RB Benny Cunningham, CB E.J. Gaines and DE Robert Quinn. The team will release a final game report after practice today. I’d guess all will be 100% ready to go!

As for the Falcons, they’ve got four names to fret over:

Full

Atlanta Falcons

Name POS Injury Wed. Status Thu. Status
Tom Compton T Knee Limited Full
Dwight Freeney DE Not Injury Related DNP
Adrian Clayborn DE Knee DNP DNP
Julio Jones WR Toe DNP DNP
Jake Matthews T Knee DNP DNP
Mohamed Sanu WR Groin DNP DNP

Those are four serious Falcons for ATL fans to be concerned with among the “DNP”s.

Check back this afternoon for the final game injury report. I’m confident it will be positive!
