Rams Make Roster Moves in Preparation for Today’s Game

Leading up to today’s showdown with the San Francisco 49ers, the Rams made a few roster moves.

WR Bradley Marquez being moved to the injured reserve isn’t a huge deal for the offense. The Rams have Tavon Austin, Kenny Britt, and Brian Quick and they prefer to play them over Marquez. However, Marquez is a special teams stud and will be missed on coverage units.

In corresponding moves, the Rams promoted RB Aaron Green and WR Paul McRoberts from the practice squad to the active roster. Green will round out a RB group led by Todd Gurley and joined by backups Benny Cunningham and Malcolm Brown. How about all that draft capital spent at RB Rams Fans!!!!

McRoberts is somewhat of an unknown. He comes from a small school (Southeast Missouri State) and hasn’t gotten many opportunites with the Rams. He has the size the Rams love in WRs, and may be given a chance in the final two weeks to show he has what it takes to stick around in 2017.
