#PositiveWeek is over.
Jeff Fisher needs to go.
There is no excuse for this regime and an NFL team to let a monster like him stay at the helm. The Rams finally eclipsed 300 yards of total offense for once, only to score 14 measly points in garbage time at home. Just think about this stat...
The Rams are atrocious. People are still defending that Jeff Fisher should be able to continue to work with his newly extended deal.
The NFL posts a highlight of the game for everyone to use. Please watch all eight minutes of misery as the Rams started the game by fumbling away the opening kickoff.
The coaching staff is responsible for putting players in positions to succeed. Being down 14-0 after 5 minutes of gametime is not a recipe for this team. After years having the ability to stockpile talent due to the Robert Griffin III trade, the Rams are taking leaps backwards.
Sure, Jeff Fisher took a team that was 2-14 and then improved them to 6-7 wins every year but may you be reminded that of ALL teams in the NFL that haven’t made the playoffs since 2012, those franchises have all changed coaches at least once while THIS team accepts it.
The Rams couldn’t do anything right this week. From the first kickoff, to blown coverages, to deflected balls, to turnovers, and so on and so forth, this team got absolutely destroyed in all facets of the game. It’s embarassing that this team has not put the blame on the coaches yet. The players still blame themselves while putting out a middle school type of performance.
As fans, we shouldn’t have to accept such terrible play. It’s become far too painful to bear as the Rams guarantee themselves the tenth straight year of not breaking .500.
God help our team.
