The Los Angeles Rams are heading across the country to take on the New York Jets in Week 10.
As they head out, they’re likely to do so as slight underdogs to the home team. What might buoy Rams fans’ hopes are that they do so with the tide supporting the Rams from the initial line.
When it was set, the Rams were down 2.5 points taking on nearly a field goal to level the odds. Now, the line has been cut down a half point and even down to +1 according to one oddsmaker.
What could likely be driving this is the Jets’ current injury list, especially with QB Ryan Fitzpatrick playing through a sprained MCL with Geno Smith already relegated to the injured reserve list with a torn ACL. Jets fans are already clamoring for second-year QB Bryce Petty, and they may well get it this week.
Nonetheless, barring some late money headed in favor of the Rams, they’re facing the odds suggesting that 3-6 is the likelier outcome.
