Appearing on Monday's edition of Good Morning Football, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported the Rams have no plans to make a quarterback change as long as the postseason remains a possibility.
Well, that's a big 'ol Charlie Bravo for the #1 overall pick. Fans clamoring for Jared Goff to take over for embattled starter Case Keenum are sure to be disappointed by this wait. Taking a look at the current playoff standings, the wait might be as agonizing as the 2016 election cycle.
Let's not kid ourselves. The Rams aren't going to catch the Seattle Seahawks atop the NFC West. Currently, the Rams are only 2 games out of a wild card spot in a thoroughly average NFC. If they maintain that distance, they will be mathematically in playoff contention until Week 16.
I mean, I can't say that I didn't see this coming (kinda), but it's a blow to the morale of fans nonetheless.
For those that still need it, I give you this.
