NFL Week 9 Broadcast Map

New, comment

Here's who's getting the Rams-Panthers game on their local broadcast channel.

Per 506 Sports, here’s the FOX broadcast map for Sunday:

Week 9 broadcast map
Week 9 broadcast map
  • Yellow: Panthers at Rams (late)
  • Red: Cowboys at Browns
  • Blue: Eagles at Giants
  • Green: Lions at Vikings
  • Orange: Saints at 49ers

Non-pictured market coverage: Anchorage, AK - Lions at Vikings; Fairbanks, AK - Lions at Vikings; Honolulu, HI - Cowboys at Browns

What a weird map for the Rams game as part of FOX’s later coverage this week. You’ve got a new SoCal segment this week compared to previous weeks. Carolina’s map is much broader with nearly all of North Carolina, all of South Carolina with parts of Virginia, Georgia, West Virginia, Kentucky and Alabama.

What’s perhaps unique is all of the individual markets that picked this game up. Pittsburgh. Baltimore. Jacksonville. Miami. Kansas City. What’s clear is that all these markets get their home teams in an early game on CBS so FOX is trying to soak them up later with Rams-Panthers. Interesting that they tossed them our game instead of Saints-49ers, the other late FOX broadcast. Springfield, Missouri, was a late market add that originally had been scheduled to get Lions at Vikings.

In all, much of the country is getting Rams football on Fox on Sunday.
