The Rams have had some really bad luck this week, with former Ram RB Isaiah Pead losing his leg after a car accident and DE Robert Quinn going to the hospital for a non-football illness. Today, CB Troy Hill didn’t have bad luck; he just made a bad decision.
Hill was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI) early Saturday morning, and will be inactive for tomorrow’s game:

A local favorite, Hill played 50+% of snaps last week vs. the Jets and was garnering praise from our own Derrik Klassen for his surprisingly good play:
As a unit, the Rams secondary played a good game. Trumaine Johnson played up to par, the safeties held their own, and the secondary was aided by a quality pass rush. While all of those things can be expected from the Rams week-to-week, Troy Hill playing well is abnormal. Hill was originally inserted into the lineup early this season when it was clear that Coty Sensabaugh was horrendous, but at the time, Hill looked just as incompetent.
This week gave Hill something to build on. He still allowed a few short catches, but Hill came through with a handful of sweet deflections and locked down his assignment much better than usual.
An additional report from TMZ.com says Hill rear-ended a semi-truck:
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Sports Hill was driving in a Mercedes on an L.A. freeway around 8 AM Saturday morning. Hill allegedly swerved over multiple lanes and crashed into the back of a semi truck. We're told Hill showed signs of intoxication, was given a field sobriety test and was arrested on the spot.
No word yet from the Rams or the NFL if there will be any additional punishment.
