The Los Angeles Rams released a statement today regarding a medical issue that DE Robert Quinn is dealing with:
Los Angeles Rams DE Robert Quinn admitted himself to the hospital this morning with a non-football related illness. He is in stable condition. Rams Head Coach Jeff Fisher will provide an update during his weekly news conference today at 5 p.m. PT.
Social media started churning out word that Quinn had potentially suffered two seizures when a Facebook account, purporting to be Quinn’s brother, suggested as much:

Several social media accounts also pointed to something Robert Quinn’s sister, Olympian Jasmine Camacho, posted and then removed before ultimately tweeting the following:
Praying hard right now. ❤️ He gone be okay. He gone be okay.

If that already wasn’t all odd enough, Robert Quinn himself cryptically tweeted this less than two hours ago:
Lllppppp

While it’s too early to directly insinuate anything, it’s worth pointing out that Quinn had surgery dealing with a benign brain tumor in his senior year of high school.
The Rams selected Quinn in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft and signed him to a contract extension in 2014 through the 2019 season. He has accrued 52 sacks in six NFL seasons highlighted by his first of two Pro Bowl seasons in 2013 when he put up 19 sacks.
We’ll have more here as it breaks, but our thoughts go out to Robert and his family.
