Aaron Donald is widely regarded as the best defensive player in the NFL. And he didn’t get there on talent alone - although he has quite the leg up in that department.
In an interesting piece from ESPN earlier this week, Donald's film study was put into perspective. It's an interesting read that sheds some light on an aspect of the NFL that doesn't get much attention. Donald's insatiable desire to have an advantage on game day is making him even more of a force to be reckoned with on game day - double teams be damned.
I think Alec Ogletree and Greg Robinson - among others - could benefit from this skill set. Donald was eager to share his notes with the reporter... I'd think he's doing the same with his teammates.
In what's looking to be another lost season, Aaron Donald is one of the few places Rams fans can look for consistent excellence.
