It was election week this week, and Rams WR Kenny Britt saw this to be the perfect opportunity to begin his own campaigning.
Britt threw a party, which he labeled as a Rally, somewhere in L.A. with a bunch of fans to promote himself for the Pro Bowl. This isn’t the first time a player has used his own marketing skills to promote himself for the chance to play in the Pro Bowl. But it could be one of the more creative approaches.
Fans certainly appeared to enjoy themselves as they waved their signs and chanted and screamed non stop during the TMZ interview with Britt.
Britt also took the time to touch on topics such as when rookie QB Jared Goff should start, as well as who’s better, QB Case Keenum or Goff.
Nevertheless, does Britt have a point? Should he be in the Pro Bowl this year if his current pace of production continues? Britt remains on pace for 70 catches and well over 1,100 receiving yards, with six touchdowns. No question that would be a solid season, especially in an inept offense like that of the Los Angeles Rams. But how much of a case does he really have....
