The Los Angeles Rams are looking very good on the injury front heading into their Week 10 clash with the New York Jets

Los Angeles Rams

Name POS Injury Wed. Status Thu. Status Fri. Status Game Status
Michael Brockers DT Groin DNP Limited Full Questionable
Todd Gurley RB Thigh DNP DNP Full Questionable
Trumaine Johnson CB Ankle DNP Limited Full Questionable
Lamarcus Joyner CB Back DNP Limited Full Questionable
Matt Longacre DE Hip - - DNP Questionable
Nelson Spruce WR Calf DNP DNP DNP Out

There’s no way to describe this except that the Rams are incredibly fortunate and have been when it comes to health. We’ll know on Sunday if any of the five listed “Questionable” are going to have to sit with the inactives. With the Rams playing amid the early games, we’ll get the inactives during the major morning preview shows.

As for the Jets...well, they’re not as fortunate:

New York Jets

Kellen Davis TE Elbow DNP DNP DNP Out
Nick Mangold C Ankle DNP DNP DNP Out
Josh Martin LB Concussion DNP DNP DNP Out
Marcus Williams CB Ankle DNP DNP DNP Out

Pretty rough sledding for the Jets. Three starters out in TE Kellen Davis, C Nick Mangold and LB Darron Lee. Three more listed “Questionable” headlined by QB Ryan Fitzpatrick but also including left tackle Brandon Shell who took over the gig with Ryan Clady headed to IR.

The injury landscape is certainly going to have a major effect on Sunday and down the stretch of the 2016 season. With the toll of football taking a hold of many rosters, the playoff push is going to require most teams to adjust to personnel losses. The Jets are just the first example of that.

The Rams, on the other hand, can be thankful that they’re instead dealing with nearly the full complement of their 53-man roster as it was constructed back in Week 1.
