The Los Angeles Rams opened the 2016 season as favorites on the road against the San Francisco 49ers. They lost.
They re-introduced NFL and Rams football to Los Angeles in Week 2 as underdogs against the Seattle Seahawks. They won.
They hit the road as underdogs to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 3. They won.
They went into Arizona to crash into the Cardinals as underdogs. They won.
BAD NEWS RAMS FANS. THE RAMS ARE FAVORITES THIS WEEK AGAINST THE BUFFALO BILLS. SCRAMBLE THE DEGENERATES. PUT ALL THE MONEY ON BUFFALO, ASAP.
At every turn, the Rams have defied the oddsmakers. Perhaps, that’s an indication of how unlikely this historic 3-1 start has been. Nonetheless, if we’re being weird, superstitious morons (and really, why shouldn’t we be), the Rams being favorites is perhaps the worst indicator heading into Week 5.
Here’s hoping the Rams make the oddsmakers 0-5 when it comes to Rams football in 2016.
