The Los Angeles Rams are prepping for their second home game of the 2016 season in facing the Buffalo Bills in Week 5.
With the initial injury report after their second practice of the week, there’s a clear concern going into Sunday:
Los Angeles Rams |
|||
---|---|---|---|
Name | POS | Injury | Wed. Status |
Michael Brockers | DT | Hip | Limited |
Kenny Britt | WR | Thigh | DNP |
Cody Davis | S | Groin | DNP |
William Hayes | DE | Ankle | DNP |
Robert Quinn | DE | Shoulder | DNP |
Well that’s imperfect.
The injuries to WR Kenny Britt and S Cody Davis alone would warrant fair worry most weeks with Britt leading the Rams in receptions and receiving yards while Davis has turned into a significant component in the Rams’ secondary rotation.
But the obvious issue standing out is that the Rams are currently without either of their starting defensive ends in Robert Quinn and William Hayes. The Rams were able to cope down the stretch in Arizona, but prepping for a potential week without them would be a different test altogether.
Here’s Buffalo’s side:
Arizona Cardinals |
|||
---|---|---|---|
Name | POS | Injury | Wed. Status |
Jonathan Meeks | S | Foot | Limited |
Stephon Gilmore | CB | Ankle | Limited |
Jerome Felton | FB | Back | Limited |
Patrick Lewis | OL | Knee | DNP |
Cyrus Kouandjio | OL | Ankle | DNP |
Corey White | CB | Shoulder | DNP |
Greg Salas | WR | Groin | DNP |
Cordy Glenn | OL | Ankle | DNP |
Charles Clay | TE | Knee | DNP |
This should help reinforce the fact that, overall, the Rams are incredibly healthy past the quarterpole, current defensive end issue aside.
Hypothetical report tomorrow and a huge Friday report to come.
