The Rams are 3-1 and sit atop the NFC West.
Let that sink in for a second.
It feels odd, but it's FANTASTIC.
As with any big win, there were plenty of key players. I did my best to narrow it down, but I'm gonna need some help here...
WR Brian Quick
Anytime you get in the end zone twice, your name will be thrown in the hat here. Given my past affinity for Quick, you better believe I'm (re)starting the hype train.
CB Trumaine Johnson
Simply put, Tru was all over the place yesterday. He had an amazing pick in the end zone and nearly came up with another equally impressive interception in the 4th quarter. Oh, and that's in addition to his SIX passes defensed.
Franchise player indeed.
DT Aaron Donald
Realistically, Donald could be on this list each and every game. He's just that dominant. Yesterday was no different. He was credited with 1.5 sacks, 2.5 tackles for a loss, and four QB hits. Donald terrorized the interior of the Cardinals offensive line all day. If he's not already, this man is damn close to being the best defender in the NFL.
