Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Los Angeles Rams are claiming former Jackonsville Jaguars CB Dwayne Gratz off of waivers:

The Rams were in a bit of a hole at CB. Trumaine Johnson went down injured late in Week 5’s 19-30 loss to the Buffalo Bills. The Rams also recently released first-year Ram CB Coty Sensabaugh after a disappointing entry into the 2016 season despite targeting him early in free agency this offseason.
That left the Rams with just three operable cornerbacks in E.J. Gaines who has looked impressive after missing all of 2015, Lamarcus Joyner who has held the slot role down and Troy Hill who usurped Sensabaugh’s spot in the depth chart.
Gratz was the Jags’ third-round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft coming out of Connecticut. He grew into the starting role in his second year, but lost the spot by year three and was at the back of the depth chart by this season. The Jags cut him yesterday.

To make room, the Rams will drop DE Morgan Fox to the practice squad:

It’s an interesting subtraction given that the Rams were without starting DEs Robert Quinn and William Hayes in Week 5. Their absences gave way to some actual game time for Fox.
Perhaps this signals that Hayes and/or Quinn will be back in action this week.
