Los Angeles Rams RB Just Todd Gurley is up for the NFL's online running back of the year award as sponsored by FedEx because we cannot have awards without branding anymore.

As such, Gurley is among just three NFL running backs in the running for the award to be decided by online voting through February 4. The winner will be announced at the NFL Honors presentation, February 6 at 9pm on CBS.

Gurley finished with 1,106 rushing yards (third in the NFL among RBs), 85.08 rushing yards per game (fourth), 4.83 yards per rush (eighth), 11 runs of 20+ yards (second) and 10 rushing TDs (fifth).

The other two candidates besides Gurley:

  • Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson: 1,485 rushing yards (first), 92.81 rushing yards per game (first), 4.54 yards per rush (15th), 10 runs of 20+ yards (third) and 11 rushing TDs (tied for first).
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Doug Martin: 1,402 rushing yards (second), 87.63 rushing yards per game (third), 4.87 yards per rush (seventh), 14 runs of 20+ yards (first) and six rushing TDs (tied for 11th).
