2016 NFL Mock Draft:'s Daniel Jeremiah Has Rams Starting Over At QB

The first effort from's Daniel Jeremiah has the Rams grabbing a new man to put under center.

The mocks are coming in fast and heavy.

Here's Daniel Jeremiah from with his first effort and the top 14:

# Team Pick POS School
1 Tennessee Titans Joey Bosa DE Ohio St.
2 Cleveland Browns Jared Goff QB California
3 San Diego Chargers Laremy Tunsil OT Ole Miss
4 Dallas Cowboys Carson Wentz QB North Dakota St.
5 Jacksonville Jaguars DeForest Buckner DE Oregon
6 Baltimore Ravens Jalen Ramsey CB Florida St.
7 San Francisco 49ers Myles Jack OLB UCLA
8 Miami Dolphins Jaylon Smith
OLB Notre Dame
9 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Eli Apple CB Ohio St.
10 New York Giants Ezekiel Elliott RB Ohio St.
11 Chicago Bears Vernon Hargreaves III CB Florida
12 New Orleans Saints Mackensie Alexander CB Clemson
13 Philadelphia Eagles Ronnie Stanley OT Notre Dame
14 Oakland Raiders Robert Nkemdiche DL Ole Miss

Some interesting names in there, especially the Apple-Elliott duo at 9 and 10. You wonder how other NFL teams view the Todd Gurley pick after the Rams picked him up for what could be a rookie of the year-winning season and still finished with a losing record and the league's worst offense in yardage...

In any case, Jeremiah's mock leaves Ole Miss WR Laquon Treadwell, Memphis QB Paxton Lynch, Baylor WR Corey Coleman and more on the board. Jeremiah mocks the Rams to take:

Paxton Lynch (QB, Memphis)

Lynch is very raw, but he has unlimited potential and the Rams are desperate to land a franchise QB.

So this is the third mock with the Rams taking Lynch after Kadar's third mock overall from a week ago and Mel Kiper's first mock over at ESPN. There's not really anything I'd offer beyond what I said there, so go check those out if you need any analysis; really though, Jeremiah's blurb is enough.

Just another bar-setting offering on what is turning today in Mock Monday.
