The Rams are on to the next one as they prepare to head to Denver in week three of the preseason.
Injuries
Higbee, Barron, Alexander, Green and Battle -- guys who missed Saturday's game to injury/illness -- all appear to be practicing.

EJ Gaines has been lining up as the first-team corner, opposite Trumaine Johnson.

Fisher said Spruce is progressing. "He’ll be out there, he’s got a chance to do some running." But isn't expected to practice this week.

WR Nelson Spruce was apparently running without a brace today but still is doubtful this week along with WR Bradley Marquez with an ankle.
Quarterbacks
Case Keenum, who just completed about a 25-yard pass to Pharoh Cooper, looks really sharp in practice. Jared Goff needs a big week.

Case Keenum hits Kenny Britt for 80-yard TD pass in scout.

Indeed, Goff will need a big week to supplant Keenum on the depth chart. In order for Goff to be able to succeed Keenum he’s eventually going to need more reps with the ones. More reps than he’s getting currently.

Fisher’s comments mean big news for fringe players like Aaron Green and Duke Williams among others.
Defense
Aaron Donald and Robert Quinn switched jerseys today. Probably just a coincidence that Quinn dominated in early drill.

Looking like CB Troy Hill is climbing up the depth chart. Been out there exclusively with the 2s in red zone and team drills today.

VIDEO: CB EJ Gaines says the Rams secondary can be "a million times" better than its showed so far. pic.twitter.com/gYQU8hLWpA

I’m more interested in watching Hard Knocks to see how coaches feel about the penalties than these jogs. Troy Hill moving up is encouraging for him but not so much Marcus Roberson or Coty Sensabaugh. Fastest way to get the secondary to a million times better would start with Gaines regaining2014 form.
More to come throughout the week.
