The St. Louis Rams sent out their weekly release earlier today, which features all kinds of goodies like history vs. the opponent, statistics about the team, relationships between players on the teams, all-time record holders, and a lot more.
It also features the "expected staters" section.
This past weekend Jeff Fisher stated he wouldn’t name a starting center until after practice tomorrow [Wednesday]. But this is probably pretty telling. It’s also not all that surprising. Barrett Jones was released on Saturday and Demetrius Rhaney, seventh round pick from 2014, simply doesn’t have the experience. He’s also listed as the starter on the team’s website, which has been updated to show recent releases. It appears, at least for now, the Rams have found their starting center.
Also, you may have noticed the Rams will be playing two right guards on Sunday. That’s just the kind of trickery that’ll help them stun the Seahawks and secure a Week 1 victory.
