My take on Barrett Jones: NFL-level talent and intelligence given to him by God. But a body made by Mattel and Pillsbury......We now enter a couple of days of calm before the storm of the regular season begins.

And the lack of sacks (particularly in the early going of the 2014 season and this preseason) isn't a "weakness" worth working on in camp/preseason??:

Good points...makes no sense having two empty stadiums in St. Louis:

The process is actually quite simple: inflate the footballs to required pressure 24 hours before game time, then deflate to preferred pressure half an hour before the game starts:

The ultimate irony:

NFL List Of The Week: #2 Overall Pick Hall of Famers

NFL DRAFT NO. 2 PICK POS. TEAM COLLEGE
1. 1939 Sid Luckman QB Chicago Bears Columbia
2. 1940 George McAfee HB Philadelphia Eagles Duke
3. 1952 Les Richter LB Dallas Texans California
4. 1964 Bob Brown T Philadelphia Eagles Nebraska
5. 1966 Tom Mack G Los Angeles Rams Michigan
6. 1975 Randy White DT Dallas Cowboys Maryland

8. 1981 Lawrence Taylor LB New York Giants North Carolina
9. 1983 Eric Dickerson RB Los Angeles Rams SMU
10. 1994 Marshall Faulk RB Indianapolis Colts San Diego State

The Rams have achieved mixed results with their recent #2 overall selections in the NFL Draft. Chris Long has turned out to be a fine addition. Jason Smith was a spectacular bust. The jury is still out on 2014 #2 overall draft choice Greg Robinson. Notwithstanding their most recent selections, the Rams have achieved many fine results with players selected second overall in the NFL Draft. Ten players selected #2 overall went on to become Hall of Famer's. Of those ten players, five played for the Rams at various points in their careers: Marshall Faulk, Eric Dickerson, Tom Mack, Bob Brown and Les Richter.
