The St. Louis Rams are in familiar surroundings, both in terms of the physical surroundings they find themselves heading to on Sunday as well as their plight in the standings and the odds. On the way to Phoenix to take on the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, the 1-2 Rams face odds putting them as underdogs by a full touchdown.
Of course, it's been an up-and-down affair with the odds through three games. Underdogs at home in Week 1 against the Seattle Seahawks? The Rams' lone victory in 2015 to date. Road favorites in Week 2 at Washington? A 24-10 stinker. In Week 3, the Rams started off as underdogs against the Pittsburgh Steelers before the specter of Todd Gurley's debut threw the oddsmakers into disarray.
Now the Rams face a six-point, or higher, fence to climb over if they're to get back to .500 and put their season back on track before it slips away before they even get to the bye week.
