Preseason game 4. Not exactly the biggest draw on the calendar. Still, it's important.
The Rams got down to their 75-man roster this week which means this game still offers the opportunity for the back third of the roster to make the case to stick around.
Game four isn't for Robert Quinn and Aaron Donald and Tavon Austin. This is the employment game. If nothing else, the motivation from the late first quarter on should be at maximum levels. With the 53-man roster due Saturday, this is the last gasp for many players not just for this season, but for their careers.
Not exactly the biggest draw on the calendar.
Still, it's important.

We're nearing the threshold to get official word on these guys, but per Jim Thomas, here's where we're at after Tuesday's practice: LB Daren Bates (knee), OG Jamon Brown (ankle), OL Andrew Donnal (finger), LB Jo-Lonn Dunbar (shoulder soreness) and RB Tre Mason (hamstring) were all no-gos. CB Brandon McGee and G Rodger Saffold both had individual work sessions. I'd expect to see exactly none of them in game action, though perhaps Brown, if anyone, might get some time since he's undergoing a position change.
