Thankfully, we are nearing the end of the preseason. Thankfully because it means we're close to meaningful football, but also because the Rams have not had a good warm up heading into the 2015 NFL regular season (by design).
To herald in the new year, we have the 2015 edition of the Governor's Cup (history of how the game was founded here). The Rams take on the Chiefs in the Ed tomorrow night, and man, is the world excited. Especially the betting world.
The money is just pouring in by the tsunami-load on the Rams who started as 3-point favorites but have dialed back a half point. What does it mean? It means preseason game fours are lit...for the back end of the 75-man roster.
The Chiefs aren't even playing their starters while Jeff Fisher expressed that he'd play "the young guys up front on the offensive line a little more than you ordinarily would play your starting line in the fourth preseason game, just because they need those reps." So it might be an interesting first quarter before we get into full roster assessment mode.
So it is as the Rams get ready to face the Seattle Seahawks in week 1 in just 11 days.
