This one's not like yesterday's hypothetical report. Having closed out a week of preparatory practices, here's the St. Louis Rams official injury report for their Sunday game on the road against Washington:
td>RB
Name | POS | Injury | Wed. Status | Thu. Status | Fri. Status | Game Status |
Chase Reynolds | RB | Knee | DNP | DNP | DNP | Out |
Eugene Sims | DE | Knee | DNP | DNP | DNP | Out |
Tre Mason | RB | Thigh | Full | Full | Full | Questionable |
Todd Gurley | RB | Knee | Full | Full | Full | Questionable |
Trumaine Johnson | CB | Concussion | Limited | Full | Full | Probable |
Daren Bates | LB | Knee | Full | Full | Full | Probable |
So you've got a pair of Rams declared out, but Eugene Sims and Chase Reynolds aren't winning the headlines here. It's the RB pairing of Todd Gurley and Tre Mason being listed as questionable, both having missed Week 1.
Mason picked up a hamstring issue in the preseason, and Gurley is coming off of an ACL tear back in November. They'll have all eyes on them on Sunday morning as the Rams get ready to go.
And here's the game injury report for their opponent:
Name | POS | Injury | Wed. Status | Thu. Status | Fri. Status | Game Status |
DeSean Jackson | WR | Hamstring | DNP | DNP | DNP | Out |
Justin Rogers | CB | Foot | DNP | DNP | DNP | Out |
Martrell Spaight | LB | Concussion | DNP | DNP | DNP | Out |
Terrance Knighton | DT | Rib | DNP | Limited | Limited | Questionable |
Tom Compton | T | Calf | Limited | Limited | Limited | Questionable |
Jordan Reed | TE | Quad | -- | Limited | Limited | Questionable |
Jackson Jeffcoat | LB | Thigh | Full | Full | Full | Questionable |
DeAngelo Hall | CB | Rib | Limited | Full | Full | Probable |
Kory Lichtensteiger | C | Finger | Limited | Full | Full | Probable |
Trent Williams | T | Ankle | Limited | Full | Full | Probable |
First off Washington, there's a quantity issue here. Three players ruled out, four questionable and another on suspension in CB Chris Culliver, and you can see the reason for concern.
In any case, it's good reason to perk your ears up as we get going Sunday morning.
