2015 Rams Roster Preview: LB Alec Ogletree Looks To Make Big Leap

After ending the 2014 season on a strong note, linebacker Alec Ogletree will be looking to start 2015 off with a bang!

Third-year outside linebacker Alec Ogletree comes into the 2015 season with lofty expectations.

After the St. Louis Rams selected him in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft, Alec had a roller coaster rookie season. His sophomore year started off slow, but Ogletree came on strong over the second half of the season.

The Rams – and Alec, as well – are hoping he picks up where he left off.

Roster Battle

Alec Ogletree is entrenched as the Rams' starting left side outside linebacker (Fisher has stated the outside linebacker spots are interchangeable). There is no roster battle, unlike the other outside LB position.

Expectations

Talent and athleticism has never been the question with the former Georgia Bulldog. Ogletree's main concern is consistency. For 2015, Alec has to put forth a full season of consistent play. This will ensure Alec has taken the next step towards becoming a star on this defense. It will also assist the Rams' defense in taking the next step in becoming a daunting force to be reckoned with.

Chances of Making Final 53-Man Roster (10/10)

There is no doubt Ogletree makes the final roster. Zero. Zilch. Nil. None.
