Former Clemson OT Isaiah Battle goes in 5th round of NFL Supplemental draft to...St. Louis Rams.

Color me surprised.
The Rams have spent their 2016 NFL Draft fifth-round selection to take Isaiah Battle in this year's supplementary draft. In doing so, they get a player with highly-touted skills...and a lengthy sheet of off-field flags.
As Dan Kadar discussed over at Mocking the Draft, Battle's a plus athlete for the position though lacks the superior strength to deal with more physical defenders (read: the anti-Rob Havenstein). He's now the eighth new offensive lineman to join the Rams for 2015 out of a total of 16 candidates. That's going to lead to an interesting battle on the line throughout camp, so stay tuned as things develop among that group.
In the end, it's a high-upside move for the Rams who have shown a proclivity for taking prospects with character questions.
