RB Todd Gurley passes his conditioning test with Rams Tuesday _ impressively we might add. Will begin camp on active roster.

St. Louis Rams running back and 2015 NFL Draft first round pick Todd Gurley is ready to go.
As we've said all along, the key is not to push things too quickly. Even the news that he'll open camp with the team and not on the PUP list doesn't mean he'll be out there with the first team when camp breaks on Friday. The likely destination for Gurley is individual work throughout practices in the immediate future to get him acclimated with the Rams' practice climate even if he can't go full-speed yet...and shouldn't. Besides, that was Gurley's target back during OTAs when he said his next goal was to get to camp to "do some individual stuff."
The bottom line now is how quickly he advances from "individual stuff" into full practice activities. And while Rams Head Coach Jeff Fisher's public comments are never to be taken as full fact, he set the bar during OTAs himself:
We're just going to see how [Gurley] progresses. We have options, which are the PUP things and we just have to see where he is. If he's not PUP-ed then I think you could probably assume that he's going to play sooner than you think.
