It’s late July, so you’ve most likely been pondering "I wonder where my favorite NFL team stacks up against the rest of the league." The thing you’ve been looking for - been longing for - are NFL Power Rankings.
And CBS Sports wants you to have them.
As far as teams in the NFC West stack up, the Seattle Seahawks rank 3rd on Pete Prisco’s list. Also, inside the Top 10, the Arizona Cardinals slide into the 8th spot. The San Francisco 49ers, despite the turnover during the offseason, rank 19th.
And rounding out the NFC West, the St. Louis Rams rank...
I hate to say it, but it almost sounded painful for Pete to even discuss the team. Just throw ‘em in at 25 and no one will notice, right? It’s standard operating procedure. The Rams typically find themselves in the low-mid 20’s in these rankings whether it be late July or late November. Might as well copy and paste.
The good news is that there’s plenty of time to turn the red arrow into a green one, and turn the "1" into a 24. That way the Rams are the best team in the NFL.
