St. Louis Rams rookie running back Todd Gurley is making the rounds having spoken with ESPN's Nick Wagoner and NFL Media's Tiffany Blackmon on his return to full participation following the ACL injury he suffered in mid-November 2014.
The key word to take away? Just.
"[Being ready for training camp] is definitely a goal that I'm shooting for...Just to be able to get out there and do at least some individual stuff. It's looking pretty realistic."
For his part, the rookie isn't worried about the depth chart, just his health.
"Right now I'm just trying to get back on the field."
"I'm coming up on seven months and a couple weeks...I'm just going to keep progressing."
"I'm just doing whatever they tell me to do and just picking up on our offense more and more."
Even Rams Head Coach Jeff Fisher is just watching Gurley to just see if he'll just be able to practice just in time for training camp.
"We're just going to see how he progresses. We have options, which are the PUP things and we just have to see where he is."
Seems just to me.
