2015 St. Louis Rams: Practice Officially Opens With First OTA Of The Offseason

The Rams are on the way to the 2015 NFL season.

Here we go.

The Rams' offseason cranks up a notch today with their first organized team activity of 2015. While contact is very limited with the players just wearing helmets, it does offer the coaching staff a chance to get both offensive and defensive personnel on the field at the same time and walk through the basics of their system for 2015.

Today's practice is closed to the media, so don't expect a ton of information to come out of this first session. On top of that, the Rams have a pretty defensive approach when it comes to media coverage of OTAs:

Use of cell phones for any reason is prohibited while at practice. Reporters may not tweet from practice, and media members may not at any point report details on personnel groups, formations, specific plays, or any information that would compromise the team’s strategic efforts. The Rams have a zero tolerance policy regarding the dissemination of strategic information gathered from practice.

Media will be allowed to attend Thursday's practice session, so we'll get some more then.

Keep an eye out for the key issues regarding OTAs that we highlighted last week: offensive line personnel, the rehabilitation timeline of a couple injured Rams, which rookies begin to make a name for themselves and the continued chemistry of the defense.
