The National Football League Player Association is hosting its 21st annual rookie premiere later this week in Los Angeles, California. Two Rams rookies will be in attendance: RB Todd Gurley and QB Sean Mannion.
It's a four-day event that combines some training on business and finance, initial sponsorship interaction and photo shoots. Sweet salami, the photo shoots.
Essentially, it's a short set of training modules on "financial planning, brand building and group player rights," with a sizeable chunk of moneyed interests "on site to grow their brands and create and promote their product lines through the utilization of group player rights."
Boring stuff overall, but we'll get photos of Gurley and Mannion in Rams uniforms.
