Rams have signed undrafted FA center David Wang (6-1, 303) from Virginia Tech.

Wang fills the spot vacated by Mason Brodine who was released by the Rams yesterday.
Wang played left guard in 2012 before sliding inside to center for his final two seasons. He joins a long list of rookie offensive linemen that will certainly be a key position for camp battles heading into 2015. If anything, his versatility helps as the Rams are looking for a new starting center and right guard after 2014 week one starters Scott Wells and Davin Joseph are no longer with the team.
Wang comes from an athletic family to say the least. His parents were members of the Chinese Track & Field Team for the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. His brother, Ed, preceded him at Virginia Tech and was drafted in the fifth round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills. Ed Wang is currently a free agent having gone unsigned during the 2014 NFL season.
P.S. Get the dumb jokes out of your system now. Right now.
