2015 NFL Draft: Best Remaining Players for Day Two

Who will the St. Louis Rams draft on day two?

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Today is day two of the 2015 NFL Draft, as the St. Louis Rams look to build on their draft class that already includes first-round selection Todd Gurley. The second day of the draft has players that the Rams will be eager to draft, and wheater the players dropped because of talent level or because of off the field issues, the second round should shape up pretty nicely for the Rams.

Here are the top players available from four websites.

Since the Rams surprised everyone with drafting Gurley, the team still has a multitude of needs on the roster. It is expected that the Rams will draft an offensive guard or offensive tackle in the second day of the draft. There really are not any guards in any of the top 10 of these writers top available. The Rams could draft A.J. Cann who is not on this list, or grab any of the other offensive tackles. Speaking of tackles it will be interesting to see what happens with La'el Collins.

There are two wide receivers that the writers like in Jaelen Strong and Dorial Green-Beckham. There is a need at wide receiver, but no one knows how much the Rams really like their receiving core, granted that did not stop the Rams from drafting a running back in the top 10. So if any of these two are on the board, things will get interesting.

The last position that the Rams really need is at quarterback. This year does not have a good class so you will not see them in a best of list, the two best QB's remaining are Bryce Petty and Brett Hundley two players that have been linked to the Rams. The second round might be too early to draft one of those two players, in fact the third round might be too early as well. However, if the Rams want a quarterback then they will have to draft them early.

There are other players that the Rams could draft that no one is really mentioning. The Rams have done their research on linebackers Paul Dawson and Benardick McKinney. The Rams have also mentioned drafting pass rushers and Randy Gregory would be the top pass rusher if he falls to the Rams in the second round.
