You can start putting your 2015 NFL calendar together, kids.
The NFL has released the full 2015 preseason schedule (with some specificity of certain dates yet to be determined). Here's the Rams' run-in:
Opponent | Date |
---|---|
@ Oakland | Aug. 13-17 |
@ Tennessee | Aug. 23 |
v. Indianapolis | Aug. 27-30 |
v. Kansas City | Sep. 3-4 |
Not a ton to deal with here. The Rams would have had an interesting foursome to deal with regardless of the opponent if only because the Sam Bradford era is over. Figuring out how to turn the offense into less of a drag on the defense isn't going to hinge on who the Rams play in the roster cut games.
Still, getting that second game on national TV makes it slightly easier to get a good sense of where the team's headed for those Rams fans who aren't shelling out for NFL Preseason Live (and who could blame them...). And wrapping up with the Governor's Cup always at least provides some sentimentality, though I'd argue that St. Louis could use some regional rivalry more than sentimentality with 2015 perhaps the Rams' final season in the Lou.
Here's the Rams' regular season opponents (we should get the dates by the end of the month):
