It had to be.
The St. Louis Rams used the 10th overall pick to select Georgia RB Todd Gurley. Now stacked up at running back with Tre Mason and Zac Stacy prior draft picks preceding Gurley, the Rams look primed to lean on a running game instead of pressing Nick Foles too early in 2015.
Dan Kadar from Mocking the Draft had Gurley ranked as his 6th overall best player from his top 300 big board.
And I'll be talking with Dawg Sports, the SBN site for the Georgia Bulldogs before too long. For now, check out their scouting report on Gurley.
Nonetheless, it's what you always knew it would be. This is Jeff Fisher's team. This is Jeff Fisher's pick.
This is Jeff Fisher's world, and we're all just living in it.
