This is one heck of a top ten...

Todd McShay has a new mock out (insider subscription required because boo). Here is the top nine.

# Team Pick POS School
1 Tampa Bay Jameis Winston QB Florida St.
2 Tennessee Marcus Mariota QB Oregon
3 Jacksonville Dante Fowler Jr. DE Florida
4 Oakland Amari Cooper WR Alabama
5 Washington Shane Ray DE Missouri
6 New York Jets Todd Gurley RB Georgia
7 Chicago Leonard Williams DL USC
8 Atlanta Randy Gregory DE Nebraska
9 New York Giants Brandon Scherff OT Iowa

Todd Gurley. At six. That would be a thing. Embrace chaos.

In any case, this is another Scherff-to-Giants pick that forces us to pick an alternative in the WR/OL wars. Here's McShay's option:

Kevin White (WR, West Virginia)

Analysis: The Rams really need a No. 1 receiver, and this scenario breaks well for them with White falling all the way to No. 10. He has a great combination of size (6-foot-3, 215 pounds) and speed (4.35-second 40-yard dash at the combine), and is a one-on-one matchup problem in the red zone and on vertical routes. They also could consider an offensive lineman here, with Brandon Scherff, La'el Collins and Ereck Flowers all possibilities, depending on who is left on the board when they pick.

Sure. Just bring the draft on already.

Other notes? UCF WR Breshad Perriman at 14 makes it two ESPN mocks in a row that have him in the top 15; Mel Kiper's most recent mock from two weeks ago had him at 10 coming to St. Louis. Oregon DE Arik Armstead at 15 to San Francisco is a sizable boom or bust pick. The late resurrection of USC WR Nelson Agholor continues as he's off to Houston at 16.

Rams 2nd round pick watch: Florida St. Cameron Erving gone at 17 to Kansas City. Stanford OT Andrus Peat, a prospect whose increasingly being pushed to St. Louis at 10, is taken by the Bengals at 21 for McShay. Kadar favorite for the Rams La'el Collins becomes at Detroit Lion at 23. Ereck Flowers and D.J. Humphries go at 25 and 28 for a solid OT duo out of the state of Florida.

Eight days.
