2015 NFL Offseason Schedule: Rams Minicamp, OTA Dates Released

Here's your summer schedule for the 2015 St. Louis Rams.

Jeff Curry-USA TODAY Sports

Per an official release from the league (thankfully, this didn't come out yesterday when nothing could be trusted...), the dates for the Rams' offseason schedule have been finalized.

First Day: April 20

OTA Offseason Workouts: June 2, June 4-5, June 8-9, June 11, June 15-16, June 18-19

Mandatory Minicamp: None

Each club is authorized a nine-week period of voluntary sessions in three phases:

Phase One consists of the first two weeks of the program with activities limited to strength and conditioning and physical rehabilitation only.

Phase Two consists of the next three weeks of the program. On-field workouts may include individual player instruction and drills as well as team practice conducted on a "separates" basis. No live contact or team offense vs. team defense drills are permitted.

Phase Three consists of the next four weeks of the program. Teams may conduct a total of 10 days of organized team practice activity, or "OTAs". No live contact is permitted, but 7-on-7, 9-on-7, and 11-on-11 drills are permitted.

Teams are also allowed a mandatory session in Phase Three, though Jeff Fisher has opted not to use those throughout his tenure and will avoid as much again this year.

New head coaches are given the opportunity to hold an additional voluntary veterans minicamp; as Fisher is going into his fourth season as the head coach of the Rams, he won't be holding one of those either.

Rookie minicamps can begin as early as May 11; those dates will be released later.
