While waiting for some good news about the St. Louis Rams [re]signing another free agent, have a look at this list of players who are scheduled to hit free agency in 2016.
They’ve got their work cut out for them. The uncertainty of depth at positions like quarterback becomes amplified when you see that Nick Foles, Austin Davis, and Case Keenum - which is every QB currently on their roster - might not be back next year.
The 2012 draft class is entering the final year of their rookie deals. What does that mean for Michael Brockers, Brian Quick, Isaiah Pead, Janoris Jenkins, Trumaine Johnson, Chris Givens, and Greg Zuerlein?
The Rams will have to make some key decisions with a lot their personnel, as nearly half of their roster [26 in total] is set to test free agency. They’ll undoubtedly lock down some of these players before they have the ability to find employment elsewhere. Injuries will, unfortunately, also play a factor. They’ll also need to find successors for some of these players in the 2015 NFL draft, which is a mere month away.
