Random Ramsdom; Dude, Where's My Offensive Line?

After the madness of last week's signings and blockbuster trade, everything seems to be in place...except those nagging questions about the offensive lineman...Where are they?

A must read from Bernie Miklasz -St. Louis Post-Dispatch

Foles is going from a quarterback-enhancing offense to one that does little to cultivate outstanding QB play. Maybe new offensive coordinator Frank Cignetti and new QBs coach Chris Weinke can improve things, but it's important to remember (for the 100th time) that this is Jeff Fisher's offense.

With the signings of Nick Fairly and Akeem Ayers, the defense filled out what few holes it had. A case could be made for some more depth at linebacker, but that is about it. The glaring discrepancy at the moment is the two starters and only two, on the offensive line. With the emphasis these last years on the defensive line, does it not follow that a great O-line is just as valuable?

The Bradford trade was the right thing to do...even if -101 Sports

Rams COO Kevin Demoff speaks on the teams future and the riverfront stadium -Fox 2 Now

"I had a very productive conversation with Dave Peacock before I drove over here," Demoff said.  "I feel good about progress that’s being made, where the process is at.  I think there’s a long road ahead for us to figure out what ultimately can happen…I think finally people realized that there was some urgency.  I think that was very good for the city.  It was very good for our fans…the focus has been giving ourselves better options than we had a year ago.  I think when you look at the work that’s been done by the task force to date you feel very good about where the options stand and the actions around St. Louis."

In case you missed it, the San Fransisco 48ers have basically disintegrated. It will be very difficult to see them fielding a competitive unit next year. Never say never, right?
