Well this interesting.
Jeff Garcia will interview for Rams quarterbacks coach job Thursday. Frank Cignetti Jr. to be promoted to OC, as previously reported

Yes, that's former 49ers (as well as Browns, Lions, Eagles, Buccaneers, Raiders, Eagles and Texans) QB Jeff Garcia. He spent 2014 as the Montreal Alouettes QB coach, finishing the circle of life back to the Canadian Football League where he started his professional career with the Calgary Stampeders for five years back in the 1990s.
Now the relevant guesswork here would be toward the Rams' intentions. Would he be coming in to mentor Sam Bradford or someone with a skill set closer to his own, a someone who obviously isn't on the Rams' roster? For a coach who has so little experience, is he being brought on less for his coaching experience and more for his playing experience that relates closer to a prospect in the 2015 NFL Draft than Bradford?
Speculation. Nothing more. But for perhaps the most interesting name involved in the re-staffing of the offensive side, it's worth considering.

Food for thought? Jeff Garcia has worked w/East Carolina QB Shane Carden, whom Rams talked to at Senior Bowl.

More food for thought? Garcia has also worked w/free agent QB Mark Sanchez in the past.

Speculation, indeed.
