The St. Louis Rams held their first practice of the week yesterday, going back to a Wednesday-Friday run instead of their usual Tuesday-Wednesday-Friday schedule this year. Rams Head Coach Jeff Fisher suggested it might just be a switch for this week and then back to the T-W-F run, though with Thursday Night Football coming for Week 15, consistency in the pre-game schedule just isn't going to be possible.
In any case, here's the Wednesday injury report:
Name | POS | Injury | Wed. Status |
Robert Quinn | DE | Back | DNP |
Andrew Donnal | T | Knee | DNP |
Trumaine Johnson | CB | Thigh | DNP |
Greg Zuerlein | K | Right Hip | DNP |
Case Keenum | QB | Concussion | Limited |
Rob Havenstein | T | Calf | Full |
Donnal's going to be out for the season, but it's starting to get worrisome for Quinn. Perhaps the same goes for GZ. Things could certainly change over the next two days, but if both are out this week you have to start looking at things with 2016 in mind.
Here's the Cards' side of the report:
Name | POS | Injury | Wed. Status |
Andre Ellington | RB | Toe | DNP |
Jerraud Powers | CB | Calf | DNP |
Cory Redding | DT | Ankle | DNP |
Frostee Rucker | DT | Ankle | DNP |
John Brown | WR | Hamstring | Limited |
Larry Fitzgerald | WR | Ankle | Limited |
Michael Floyd | WR | Hamstring | Limited |
Tony Jefferson | S | Thigh | Limited |
Ed Stinson | DT | Groin | Limited |
Jonathan Cooper | G | Knee | Full |
Patrick Peterson | CB | Ankle | Full |
Of course the Ellington injury combined with Chris Johnson being placed on IR thins out the Cardinals at RB. Other than that, it's nothing surprising for Arizona, and they don't sound too concerned about the length of the report.
