Well, it's got the marquee timeslot, but this aint marquee billing.
The 2-5 Chicago Bears are in SoCal to take on the 2-6 San Diego Chargers in a battle of veteran QBs in Jay Cutler and Philip Rivers. Cutler's now 32-years old while Rivers is a year older.
We're at the point where there's probably not a ton to play for for these two without a miracle forthcoming. As of right now, the Chargers would have the fifth pick in the 2016 NFL Draft; the Bears would pick eighth.
If there's an angle here, it's that the Chargers are, along with the Rams and Raiders, one of the three teams most oft-mentioned in concert with a possible move to Los Angeles. With the need to fill air time tonight, I wouldn't be surprised if that topic gets raised tonight.
