It's what you might have worried about most looking at the official game injury report.
The St. Louis Rams' inactives today include three starters in DE Robert Quinn, OT Rob Havenstein and S T.J. McDonald to go with still-sidelined DE Chris Long and special teams contributor Chase Reynolds. Here's the full list:
- OT Rob Havenstein
- DE Chris Long
- QB Sean Mannion
- S T.J. McDonald
- DE Robert Quinn
- ST Chase Reynolds
- DT Doug Worthington
With Havenstein out at RT, veteran OL Garrett Reynolds will slide over to right tackle with guard Andrew Donnal filling in at left guard in place of Reynolds who himself was bumped up to replace longtime Rams OL Rodger Saffold. The Rams had toyed with UDFA rookie Darrell Williams at RT with Reynolds sticking at LG in practice this week but flipped to the Donnal-Reynolds combo on Friday.
S Maurice Alexander will likely fill in for TJ Mac with the usual defensive end combo of William Hayes and Eugene Sims supplanting the starting duo of Quinn and Long.
As for the Vikings, here's their inactive list:
- C Nick Easton
- DT Sharrif Floyd
- TE Chase Ford
- QB Taylor Heinicke
- LB Eric Kendricks
- G Jeremiah Sirles
- DE Justin Trattou
